Position : School Counselor (LGPC or LMSW)

Locations : Baltimore County, MD

Employment Type : Full-Time

Salary range : LGPC or LMSW 60,000-68,000

LCPC or LCSW-C 70,000-75,000

Job Description : We are seeking 2 passionate, client-centered School Counselors to provide mental health services to children and adolescents in Baltimore County Public Schools.

In this role, you will develop treatment plans, provide counseling utilizing evidence-based practices, collaborate with school staff and treatment teams, maintain clinical documentation, and administer assessments.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide trauma-informed counseling services to students
• Assess treatment progress and adapt interventions as needed
• Coordinate care with school staff, families, and treatment teams
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation
• Administer assessments and measure treatment outcomes
• Crisis intervention and management of high-risk clients
• Comply with regulations, ethical codes, and confidentiality standards

Qualifications :

• Graduate degree in counseling or social work (LGPC or LMSW)
• Passion for working with children / adolescents and their families
• Knowledge of developmental needs, trauma concepts, evidence-based practices
• Strong clinical skills - CBT, MI, solutions-focused, supportive therapy etc.
• Crisis management and suicide prevention skills
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities
• Openness to clinical training, supervision, and continuing education
